KARL

Post by karl » Mon May 26, 2025 3:44 pm

If anyone wondered why I've been quiet lately it's because I had some very sad news and I'm still feeling numb.
My lovely cousin passed away May 15th hours after she replied to my text - she was waiting on the doctors doing
their rounds and was hoping to be discharged, hours later she passed away.

The funeral is June 10th. I had plans for a few days in Liverpool from the 9th but of course that is cancelled.

Alison was my first cousin and I was always very fond of her, she leaves behind her husband, daughter, son and grandson, and of course
her mother (my aunt who will be 96 June 8th and is amazing everyone with her strength).

Sorry to hear about your very sad news Karl.
It will take a while for you to get over the loss of your cousin.
I was wondering why you hadn’t posted for a few days, but there is no rush for you to post anything on here until you feel the time is right :( :(

Thank you Robert, John & Eman. You may remember it was Alison's son who took a stroke whist on leave from the Navy.
