Absolutely,Robert-I think both Leona&Ben(&Ray)are certainly 'world-class'performers.To think they've been in contention for so many grulling weeks is incredible.
'THE 'X'FACTOR TOUR 2007'will be really some show!
I think I'll give THE STEVEN SEAGAL and HIS BAND dates a miss!

Leona has just won, I thought she would, with such a beautiful voice 8) but Ray is also excellent 8)

Yes is was a great show tonight Robert and the result was justified.
Leona sang brilliantly.
Ray has style and personality and he is so likeable. His voice will improve further with experience.

We enjoyed the show tonight too. Leona was a worthy winner, but Ray will also be a big success I'm sure. He just needs to mature for a few years, like fine wine! He still looks so young, compared with his vocal talent. All the best to them both. It was a good year for good singers.

A really exciting show tonight---I still think Ray should have won.
But there you go--I'm always wrong !!!

Strange combination wasn't it ? one with a very good voice but no personality, the other with a good voice and full of personality. Perhaps it should have been a draw.

Hi All

Amanda and I also thought Leona had the best voice, so we think she deserved to win.

Sorry,H&L-Leona has a lovely personality-I'm fed up with the likes of Davina McCall, and that kind of personality-Leona is a breath of fresh air.
Isn't it amazing how we are unable to pick a decent government and yet we CAN pick a winner?
Ray has a pleasant aura but those awful Sinatra songs-MY WAY&THAT'S LIFE can't have helped. Of all the lovely Sinatra trax and someone chose those!
Leona was singing on this morning's GMTV&Lorraine Kelly-stunningly.
AND she is under 20! Plenty of time to develop further. :D

Well, yes fair enough Mark. Simon did comment on her kind of personality that summed it all up really. He said that she is just not fully aware of what talent she has, compared to some that he descibed as cocky and arrogant and generally talentless, as we've so often seen.

She reminded me very much of my two grandaughters-Raphael(19)and Scarlett(16)-they too are sometimes shy but in today's loud, brash, pushy world-not all that bad a trait. They were with us at the 'X'FACTOR show and I saw the whole thing through their eyes. What a show!

I think Leona deserved to win, she had the best voice, I have to hand it to Ray though, he was genuinely delighted that Leona won, he handled his disappointment well.

Well at least "our Mark" has an easy surname---have you tried to spell the surname of the Mark who is on "Strictly Come Dancing "???
