Hello and Happy New Year to Marian,Gray,Lena and Harry,Marian(a) ,Sandra, Robert,John and of course the lovely Michele..in fact to All Monrovians..
I don't normally 'chip in' from the other side side of the world unless I've got something remotely relevant to say, but I just had to log in to say 'Congrats' to Marian on her milestone...
It seems such an unachievable tally from where I stand at the moment..maybe I ought to loosen up a bit.(!?)
Am currently at work..30 something degrees outside..listening to Matt on my cruddy MP3 player
"The Nearness of You" slides past..... What an awesome talent the man had...

Well done Harry and Lena--I guessed it would not take you long to reach 8500---an amazing total.

By the way--my sister wants to know if you come under Willesden sorting office!! The package that they should have delivered last week, if only they had knocked at the door, will not now be delivered till next Saturday 16th. She thought it was coming today--but nobody told her that if it had a relivery number, they needed 48 hours notice--it is a shambles--luckily it is not anything important!! Well, it is in a way-she ordered some bird seed--for outside. So now she cannot feed her birds !!!!

Thank you very much for all your nice comments. They are always so much appreciated. You can tell we are practically housebound, ..well snowbound, and the PC is rather the alternative than all the repeats saturating the TV right now, but then we have Radio 2 coming up with Chis Evans when he begins his morning prog to replace Tel.
He may surprise, after all someone has to do it.

Marian, our sorting office and deliveries are from the Canterbury Road office in Kilburn.
It is frustrating waiting for an urgent delivery. We are just fortunate that our office is not too far for us to walk.
