Well done Robert, on still notching up a score of 1400 even in spite of sitting up half the night watching those old movies. But we have to admit that you've got good taste.
By the way Robert, is the Frances Langford "Pennies From Heaven" that you have with Satchmo and Bing Crosby???

I didn't realise it was pancake day today! I have just had one for my supper, at 11.30 pm, perhaps a bit heavy for this time of night, but hey, I need something to soak up the couple of pints I have had!  I guess you must all think I am constantly drunk!

I think Pancake races still only take place in Olney Bucks Marian. Actually the only place I raced to today was the opticians.
Well i didn't exactly race but, it's one of those weeks this week
Dentist yesterday, can you believe it £ 42.40 for a replacement filling. and the quacks on Friday. "to have a routine check up i'm told" which is surprising seeing that the NHS is bankrupt

Oh, I am fine now Marian, getting ready for tonight's pint now! I've always eaten well at supper times Lena and Harry. My favourites were spam sandwiches and strawberry jam on fresh crusts of bread! I don't mean them both together, I would have a jam crust and then decide that wasn't enough and have a spam sandwich as well. I am still as greedy as that even now!

Nothing like hot crusty bread, specially with beef dripping. My mum always told us- as kids that it was good for us...... greased our chests.
