I did recently say that I was only going to comment on every 500 postings--but hey! rules are made to be broken, so I am here to say well done to Marian on her wonderful score of 2800 postings.

It is always such a pleasure to read your postings--not forgetting trying to work out your clever clues!!

Well done Marian on reaching the score of 2,800.
Your informative contributions keep the forum alive and interesting.
Like Marian we decided it was 500 postings for a mention, but we change our minds like the weather.
Hope it was kind to you for your trip out today
It's turned very breezy here this evening.

Many thanks everyone for your kind words. Life wouldn't be the same without any of you, or this great forum. :D
The weather was lovely today thank you Lena and Harry, just a few brief spots of rain, but it soon cleared up and it was beautiful.

Congratulations to Berkshire Marian on your 2,800 warm, witty and informative postings. Not gettin on here as much as I once did, but nice to see you're all still here as normal! How is Esther? Can't believe she will be nearly one - I was over seeing my god-daughter at the weekend and it reminded me that they were born at similar times!

Many thanks Mike. :D I don't know whether to thank Robert, he seems to have left some kind of threat!!
Esther is nearly nine months old Mike. She's super, but unfortunately still awaiting hip surgery in October, at Addenbrookes. She'll have to have a hip spica (plaster cast)for a few months afterwards.
How's Sophie? I think she was just a little older than Esther.
Hope you and Marc are fine. We miss seeing you as regularly on the forum.

Just heard the weather forecast for tomorrow---and I guess that was what Robert was referring to. And it has been so lovely today, although a little cooler.

I am hoping the forecasters have got it wrong for tomorrow, as I am travelling to my Aunts in South Manchester early in the morning.
Will still put the deck chairs in the car though, you never know!

Sad to say that the weather forecast was right - raining cats and dogs here in Hants. Hope you find another use for the deckchairs John - although you may need to in South Manchester anyway!

Yes, it was a waste of time putting them in the car today Mike, it never stopped raining.
