I guess now Ray(Quinn)will now be destined for the Gareth Gates kind of obscurity after his brush with fame.

Gareth is now trying to make a comeback-he has just had a new single out that did fairly well, and has a new cd next month , I think.

I have not seen or heard much of Ray in the last few weeks, so not sure what he is up to.

We have also seen on a web-site that Leona was in the USA for recording..
It seems that she flew to Los Angeles on Tuesday to begin intensive recording with just a brief stop in the UK at the end of the month.
Some of her followers here are apparently not very happy that she is spending so much time in the States.

I had to go back quite a way to find this thread.
Although her singing is not particularly liked on this forum, I think we should congratulate Leona Lewis on her number one spot in the U.S charts. The first UK singer for 20 years.

Yes--Leona has done well to get to munber 1 in US--but I still do not like her singing--although I marginally prefer her latest single to her first single!
