Good luck Mariana ...I'm having mine taken out ...not all of them  On Thursday morn ....the dentist is lovley and I'm only half anxious now about it all....atm I'm waiting for fish utilities to tune up and change our electricity metre ....a new system of reading going straight to them instead of having to read them or something ....still waiting ...they rang and said aim to be there at eleven ... never mind worse at sea

Last time I had a tooth out, it was really loose---I was only in the chair for 10 secomds--£100.00 bill.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next time, I will tie some cotton round it and pull it out myself. !!!

100 quid ...what a con....we pay when in pain ...mine will be about 70 all together ...I'd rather pay this than sit with that awful person  ...wouldn't it be great if we could listen to matt whilst having treatment 8) but ....don't really want to associate his amazing voice with the Nasher people

Offending tooth out...lovely dentist and assistant ...I walked past the misog dentist ....thinking how lucky i m to have a nicer dentist around the corner....all ladies working there  My other dentist in Maidstone a fella and has always been great but I think nhs treatment is sparse ....he doesn't so anything unless he thinks absolutley necessary ... Admittedly we don't get ripped off but there must be fine line....he doesn't scale and polish anymore ....something to do with new dentist rules or something ....anyway enough talk of teeth  Just want a lovely cuppa..I can feel a Matt cd coming on just so that i can chill ...I've paid 70 pounds for private ..included ...X-ray checkup ...scale and polish and extraction ...sorry I'm finished with the Nasher chatter :D

I had a good result yesterday-first thing she said was "Youir gums look healthy"--always a good sign. took xrays, but all Ok. ASked after the dogs--then off I went ., till another 6 months £35.00 bill-quite happy with that , these days.

Glad you had a better trip Maxine.

Well done Mariana .....  my other teeth holding up  bought interdental sticks as advised by new dentist ...funny you mentioned the doggies ....as I went out the door i said as well as I could having had treatment ....that I've got to go back lol ....then of course i rang hubby to tell him all sorted ....I cannot have my loved ones around me when I have to have treatment as it makes me more nervous.....can't explain why but it does :D He didn't want me to go alone but that's me for you ....and I drove myself home
.....only up,the road ... :D

Maxine--yes the sticks are good, but the best things to use are the little interdental brushes--they come in a range of sizes, but really work well. I could never get on with dental floss, but these are brilliant--sold on Boots, Sainsburys etc.

 too right Mariana ....my dear mums teeth were lovely ..so nice in fact her dentist said.... if everybody had teeth like yours Freda i would be out of business......it was her gums that went and now i have to be vigilant with mine as there was no decay in the tooth that was infected ...do you use them everyday Mariana ?
