It's like listening to Stanley Unwin, L&H.
Frustrating flashes of apparent sense,
amid the welter of incoherence.

As you know I go back a long way, L&H,
but Harry Hemsley's Horace predates my antiguated radar.
I guess he, Like Stanley Unwin, was funny.
The only thing funny about Adebayor's incoherent
comments is Gary Lineker and co. straining
to try to understand him.

I thought Peter would remember Harry Hemsley's Horace Marian. He will remember that Harry Hemsley himself couldn't understand Horace and had to ask one of his other children in the act...what did he say Winnie.
One thing is for sure, just like Harry Hemsley, in almost every home when the pundits have their spot there'll be one question....what did he say  :?

There's a video on Harry Hemsley, the child impersonator on the pathe news.
He's reading a newspaper and when he speaks in his child's voice he puts the newspaper up to hide his face. We stood it well really. :D looking back some of it was awful. :D

This morning at 7AM (Pacific time) both the US and England will be playing at the same time to win their respective matches. I predict that both England and the US will win, but I feel it is only fitting that the USA makes it to the round of 16 after the bad call from their last match which they should have won 3-2 against Algeria. Slovenia will be a tough team for England to beat, but they should play better than they did in their last match.....Good Luck to both the US and England!! I will be switching channels on my TV to root for both teams!

I hope you will be right about both matches Henry--despite Englands poor shorwng so far, th whole country is still behind them, and willing them to win--I have never seen so many England flags on cars, windows , front doors etc.

Good luck to USA too, after their bad luck previously, I would love to see them go through, along with England.

HERE WE GO...HERE WE GO ...HERE WE GO :) :D :D
What a different team England were today, they played so well, but it was still nail biting right to the end.
Well played England. They deserved to go through. :)
We watched the USA highlights and Donovan's goal and like England they should have scored a few more, but well done to the USA too.

It was nail biting stuff at the end, the clock seemed to be going by extra slowly !!.......so nervous, but England should have wrapped the game up well before then......... England definitely deserved their victory though :) ................so it's Germany next.........it just had to be them really, didn't it ? ................also well done to the USA, who also deserved their victory :)
