THOUGHTS FOR TERENCE
Re: THOUGHTS FOR TERENCE
It's facebook not twitter Karl. Not a lot from Terence recently lately. Latest posts were when he was trying to deal with conflicting messages from his surgeon and another cancer specialist. Since then he has only posted a few adverts of people claiming to have found various substances that are supposed to help in dealing with cancer.

Re: THOUGHTS FOR TERENCE
Hi Karl and Marian
I am fine and currently taking herbs from
http://www.cacare.com
Thank you so much for your concern.
I am listening to music and watching movies again.
Not so depressed anymore although I still get nightmares.

Hi Terence, I am so glad that your news is more positive---I stronly believe in herbs and natural medicines, and often wonder why the doctors do not put more faith in them.
Hoping everything continues to improve--the fact that you are listening to music and watching films is a good indication.

Re: THOUGHTS FOR TERENCE
Hi Mariana
So nice to hear from you. I am staying positive and trying to carry on with life normally. I don't want to dwell on the cancer to the point that I am obsessed with it.

Re: THOUGHTS FOR TERENCE
Hey Terrence,
Glad to hear that you aren't letting it take over your spirit altogether. Keep positive and carry on in a normal fashion as you said. Hey did you get to listen to Barbra's new cd yet?

Re: THOUGHTS FOR TERENCE
Thanks Maureen, Harry, Karl & Eman for caring.
Yes Eman, I listened carefully to Barbra's new album RELEASE ME.
Some songs should have been kept in the vault.
I didn't like to her version of Home (from The Wiz), Lost In Wonderland, Mother & Child.
The ones that caught my attention are : I Think It's Going To Rain Today ; Didn't We ; If It's Meant To Be. Willow Weep For Me is such a classic song. Just not sure her version is definitive.
I quite like How Are Things In Glocca Morra/Heather On The Hill except that I can't quite catch the lyrics. It was refreshing to hear her tackle a country song in Try To Win A Friend.
The opening song Being Good isn't Good Enough should have opened her Back To Broadway album instead of her bland interpretation of Some Enchanted Evening.

Re: THOUGHTS FOR TERENCE
Several people have recorded I Think It's Gonna Rain Today Terence, the first version I heardwas by Dusty which without sounding too biased is excellent,Jack Jones also does a fine job and in more recent years Chris Farlowe has also recorded it.

Keep well and stay positive Terence, and if you have faith in herbs or similar remedies then continue to take them, and we hope they will prove to be beneficial for you.
Both thinking of you as always. Lena & Harry.

Re: THOUGHTS FOR TERENCE
Thank you John, Lena & Harry.
I have confidence that the herbs will keep me well.
I especially like the herbalist's motto : Our Hands But God Heals.

Re: THOUGHTS FOR TERENCE
I have also found that Homeopathic tablets help too--at one time, I was having awful headaches, every afternoon--this was after an operation when the doctor sent me back to work after only 5 weeks--quite an ordeal--going straight back onto the long journey to and from London, and a days work. When I asked the doctor for help-he just said to take paracetomol--at this stage I was having to go down to the welfare department every afternoon, as my head was so bad--nothing that I bought would help-then I saw these homeopathic tablets in Boots, and thought they were worth a go--and hey presto, within a few days my headaches cleared. It was amazing, as they are just teeny tablets. Doctors do not know everything.
