Eggs

Post by karl » Fri Feb 24, 2012 1:52 pm

We all know that chicken is a very versatile thing to cook with but how about Eggs, let's see how many uses we can think of that requires eggs.

When I'm in the States I like to be very "posh" and order eggs benedict for breakfast.

Funny you should mention Canadian bacon Henry, one of our waitresses in the States asked (As she was clearing the plates) if I had ever trie dit iwith Canadian bacon underneath.

I replied "Now You Tell Me" and she explained she had never eaten it until she came to work here and now she eats it all the time, she patted her rear and said "Now I Have To Take A Bigger Size In Skirts"

Henry what is Canadian Bacon, is it more like our rashers, as Americans seem to eat only streaky bacon?

PANCAKES -why is it every pancake day we enjoy them so much and swear we will eat more of them, and then say the same thing again next year because we haven't

Bennets. (Is that how you spell it?)..The French light donuts dusty with powdered sugar and a chocolate dipping sauce.

Marian, Canadian Bacon is this thinly sliced smoked pork, kinda looks like luncheon meat, but much better. The American bacon as you know are those long crispy strips, tastes good, but bad for ya... (oh why does everything that has to be good be so bad...)

Never heard of those but they sound tasty, how I agree with you that things we like are bad for you - however in moderation can they really be so bad?

Thank you for the explanation of Canadian bacon Eman. I think I still like ours best though! :D
