After viewing the video I'm still choked that the poor thing only had another 18 months of life left after enduring such a horrible existence previously

Robert, that was a sad video.....The original owner should be punished by leaving him out
and chained in the dog's area for 60 days & see how he likes it!!

It's unprintable what we'd like to do with the original owner

I can never understand why people have animals if they can't treat them well.

Years ago I used to look after my sister & brother in law's golden retriever when they were on holiday and she was so intelligent and so loving and we had a lot of fun with her.

Heartbreaking. Can't understand people who treat their animals like that. At least she found some happiness in the last eighteen months of her life.

I agree with Henry, that poor dog's owner should be treated like that. Yep and agreeing with Karl, that why would one have a pet only to mistreat it. The video really bothers me.

Just read Henry's reply again, surely the owner would be charged? The dog must have been so happy to be well treated, just too bad it was old and sick by that time.

What bothers me also is why the "Amber Welfare Agency" (I think that is what it is called) did nothing about the poor dogs situation even after being contacted on numerous occasions by neighbours

Robert, we have heard so many cases of babies and small children being abused and ill-treated in their homes by parents or their partners and in spite of signs being obvious to social workers and numerous calls to authorities nothing has been done until it's too late, so what chance has an animal got. :x
