I just heard about that on the Chris Evans show this morning--a lot of happy people there I gather.

They have done really well to get promoted, so I shall watch out for them next season-even though I do not usually follow football.

But I know enough to know it is Chelsea [the team I supported in my 'teens], against Liverpool, {where my niece and her daughter live.] in the Cup Final--I may even watch it this year--if I remember when it is on.

Well done Reading for reaching the Premier League :) ........... but like my team, and Reading four years ago, the smaller teams find it hard to "stay" in the top division as they cannot attract or even afford to buy the very top players  ..............but well done Reading (do you know Hull City beat Reading home and away this season Marian) :)

Yes Robert, I hope this time they stay up! John Madeski has recently sold some of the club to a rich Russian I believe, so maybe he will be able to attract some good players. The Reading squad has some very good players already though. I bet some like Kevin Doyle wish they had stayed and will going up with Reading, instead of going down like Wolves!
How are Hull City doing now Robert? Of course we lost on City status recently too.
We miss Gray and news of Leeds United recently, but I get news of them from my daughter's fiancee. Apparently Gray has a bad throat infection at the moment so we hope he gets better quickly.

Yes, well done Reading. The fans showed how pleased they were too by the pitch invasion. :D Great stuff.
Well done Chelsea on their One goal win last night thanks to showman Didier Drogba who for most of the game had spent more time on his a...e than on his feet.
Next week may be a tougher game.

Yes it was good match last night for Chelsea. They seemed to hold Barcelona and deserved their win. As you say Lena it might be a tougher game next week. Drama queen Drogba though will have to stay on his feet more, but at least he was up for the goal!

Did you go to Brighton Lena and Harry? Hope the weather wasn't as bad as forecast for you. The weather was awful here this morning but some sunshine this afternoon. Hope our boys are enjoying the festivities in Reading. :D

No, we cancelled it Marian. Six of us were going in my nephews vehicle which seats Six or Seven.
The plan was to meet up there with my great neice who is at University just outside Brighton, have lunch in the Pavilion and go and see the campus, but my niece and her husband (her mum and dad ) went down by train and have just e-mailed us on their phone to say that they were on their way back but were able to have a meal, then the sun came out , they strolled along the pier and round the town and finished up in a nice little bar.
What you can do when you are young and fit eh !!!
Hope the boys kept dry Marian and had a great time cheering their Reading heroes.
