I'm A Celebrity..

Post by Marian » Mon Nov 12, 2007 11:52 pm

Just watched the opening hour and a half of "I'm a Celebrity." I know what John means about the lack of any real "celebrities." The only ones I've heard of are Rodney Marsh and Anna Ryder Richardson. I've seen the chef somewhere before, but forget his name already. :? :? :?

I switched off after half an hour, still hoping that Christopher Biggins is flown in! :?

The chef is John Burton Race, who was recently a judge on "Britains greatest Dish" [or similar]

I lost interest when I read that Katie Hopkins [from the Apprentice] was not going to be in it--she would have spiced things up a bit, that's for sure !!!

Apparently, there are going to be a couple more contestants added later, but probably not Katie and Christopher, more likely Right Said Fred, but you never know. :? :?
Janice Dickinson looks like she might be quite entertaining anyway. She failed the first task miserably last night, and is up for the second one today against Rodney Marsh. Whichever team loses has no food. Keep Janice doing the tasks for a week and there'll only be one team left alive!!!

I never found any interest in this or similar promotional 'shows'!
Watching paint dry is less boring!

I have just read that Katie Hopkins is joining tonight--so I may give it a go !! I only ever watched one series before-the one that Tony Blackburn won.

I admired Katie Hopkins for getting in that tank with those cockroaches. But Gemma Atkinson seems to be the only real reason to tune in. Shallow of me, I know.

Gemma does not seem to do a lot, except sit there and look pretty !!

Janice is driving me mad. I think Katie is doing well.

I didn't stay up to watch Janice's challenge last night. How did she do? She's clearly heading for the most hated celeb award, perhaps deliberately. I agree Gemma doesn't seem to do much, at least not yet. I guess the male vote will keep her in the group for quite some time.

Janice was hopeless last night.  Luckily, she had Christopher Biggins to help her and he ended up winning most of the stars.

I am beginning to feel a little sorry for Janice now---I think that after doing one task, that person should be out of the voting for the next task-it is ridiculous for her to have to do so many--and also does not give the other contestants a chance to see what they are made of--and she did really well with "J" to get 10 stars.

I am finding Katie very subdued most of the time, to my surprise.

I am waiting to see what develops between Marc and Cerys.......

I think that Lynn may go first--she is very aggravating--the sort of person, that if you say to her "You always have the last word" she will immediately reply "No I don't" !!

Yes, I agree Marian, and Janice is beginning to grow on me too... "Oh, Man"! It's unfair that she gets picked every time, but she always takes it on the chin and really goes for it. I somehow doubt she will with the creepy crawlies tonight though, and I don't blame her. She was excellent with J on the motorbike challenge, they both were. I just wish they would have more challenges like that one, and less of torturing wildlife!
Marian :D
P.S. I can't stand Lynne or John, not keen on Rodney Marsh either.
