We have just heard the sad news that Max Bygraves, one of Britains best loved singers and entertainers has died at the age of 89.
He had been suffering with Alzheimers for some time.
Max moved to live in Australia in 2005, and came back to the UK on a few occasions for concerts, but had worked with all the top stars in the Uk and many other countries.
We have all of Max's Music that served us well in the past for parties and family gatherings
He will be missed.
R.I.P. Max.

L& H I just read this online. I knew Max wasn't in the best of health but I am sad to hear of his passing.
I always remember his catchphrase I Wanna Tell You A Story.
Didn't max record Any Dream Will Do? I liked that.
Rest in peace Max.

Very to hear the sad news that Max Bygraves has died. He was at his daughter's home in Australia.
He was a great entertainer for many many years, and never seemed to look any older.

I read his son said that until last year he was still on the ball and able to sing along to his records but latterly he couldn't do that and had becomee very frail.

A lovely man.We still remember a fantastic evening at the Weymouth Pavilion many, many years ago.He had us in the palm of his hands all evening, and when he sang a medley of old songs including his version of 'You're My Everything' the audience cheered. R.I.P Max
