It has been snowing nearly all day in East Yorkshire today, everything looks lovely and white and it is very bright outside instead of pitch black, even at this time 2.30 am .........................but please let it now STOP before it freezes, if it does freeze it will never go, like two years ago

It seems pretty bad in Scotland and the North. We awoke yesterday morning here in London with the cars covered with snow but then it started to drizzle with rain and that cleared it, then we had more snow, but so far it hasn't settled, at least not where we are. It could change though.

We had snow for a few hours on Sunday but the streets were wet so it melted on impact.

It looks like we have he same weather as you Robert.

This morning we have had no more so far,but nothing has melted as yet.

It is giving the appearance of a bright sunny day though

Here in Kent, we had a dusting yesterday, which quickly swent, and no more since--pretty cold though.

It sounds similar to Harry and Lena.

My sister has a lot of snow in Suffolk.

We don't have snow here in San Diego only in the mountains. However it's been so cold here on the news they've shown cars whose windshields have thick ice on them. I drove to work and just pulled out and my windshield got all cold and cloudy that I had to turn the defroster and heater on high to have it melt and warm up inside. Some plants have froze and on the news someone had a fountain and they took a picture of it and the water had turned to ice!!!

Well you'd feel quite at home here Eamon if you're having that kind of weather. Who would think San Diego would get THAT cold?

We had snow on Sunday, but it was only wet snow and thankfully didn't stick. It is bitterly cold though.

I knew the East Coast had a lot of snow at this tim,e of year and got very cold--but I did not expect it in San Diego.

Another bright day forecast but minus six and a half at 8.00 a.m. this morning

FREEZING FOG THS MORNING---AND GETTING FOGGIER!

Yeah Mariana and Karl, it's really freaky for San Diego if you ask me. This morning it's cold and the fog is thick. I had to drive extra slow as visibility was really bad, however there were cars zooming by me and others who were driving slow. Geez I wonder if they had some sort of supersonic fog vision that the could see through it!! However it's supposed to burn up by mid-day today and be in the upper 60's and sunshine for the rest of the week.

Eamon forgive my French but you always get ass-holes driving at speed in bad conditions, I really don't care if they kill themelves I just hope they don't take any innocent people with them.

Just checked my car as it's very icy here and the temperature is 0 deg.

Talking of idiot drivers, some years ago in Boston an idiot driver raced past us and we both had a feeling he was an accident waiting to happen, sure enough a few miles down the road he was almost up-ended on one of the concrete blocks you sometimes have down the middle of the freeway.

IDIOTS are everywhere in this weather. I told a guy that he was an irresponsible driver - out to kill anyone - he did a 'U' turn across a pavement, close to a deaf child and a lady, just because he was in a hurry for his lunch - Chip Shop . He was embarrassed, too many people heard me....

Looks like we are all in for more on Friday. We're all in this together!
