LOST AND FOUND

My birthday last Friday got off to a bad start as I realised I had lost my wallet.
Inside was my driving licence, pictures of my mum and dad, my dental appointment card plus several other unimportant bits & pieces and a ten pound note (I was waiting until I got to Glasgow to withdraw cash for the wedding)
Arriving home today from the wedding there was a message from the dental surgery, the Police had seen the card and called them to say my wallet was at Police HQ which is very close to my house.
Everything was inside, I was so pleased not to lose those pics of mum & dad. To be honest I did not give a damn about the £10 but I did want my driving licence back. However I was pleased not to lose the money either.
It's comforting to know there are honest people around and I did not lose it in Marks & Spencer as I thought but along near my local post office.
By the way, the wedding was great as was the barbecue party the previous day.
