MY DOGS AND THEIR COATS.

Post by mariana44 » Sun Nov 24, 2013 12:09 pm

Hi Maxine, and anyone else who is interested---here are photos of my 2 dogs and their new coats, Chloe is in the Red coat, and Harry in the Blue coat. They have got used to them very quickly, and seem really comfortable in them.

~That is what I thought-I have a lovely neighbour who takes them out for me, and she goes much further than I ever did, so I thought it was time they had new coats--they have quite long fur coats at the moment, but when I have them groomed they olok very different--about half the size for a start !!!

This is my cat Mitten---she is now nearly 11 years old. We rescued her and her mother Rosie from a local farm--however, when Mitten had her spaying operation, Rosie left home and went to live with my neighbours across the road, where she is to this day. Occasionally she will come back to see Mitten, box her ears, and then go back !!!!!

We had many cats over the 37 years we were together, but after George died, I thought that 2 dogs would be company for me--and it has turned out to be so.

Mitten is unusual as she has a black nose, usually cats with white on their faces have pink noses. I once said I don't want another cat with a pink nose, but guess what, they've all had pink noses! All our cats have found us, I've never had to go anywhere to get a cat, all my life even when I was a child. :D
