Stan Stennett.

Sad to hear that comic entertainer Stan Stennett has died at the age of 88. Stan was another of those entertainers who gave pleasure to millions over the years appearing regularly on TV on variety shows and also appeared in Coronation Street for a while and in Crossroads.
He always came over as a genuinely nice man.
R.I.P. Stan Stennett.

I always hold my breath when I see an old familiar name as it's usually bad news.
Haven't seen or heard of Stan for years but he was good.
Rest in peace.

I remember him very well from Crossroads, he played Sid Hooper.

Stan Stennett was interviewing Eric Morecambe at the Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury when Eric had his fatal heart attack in 1984
