LONDON HOTEL HELP

Post by karl » Tue Jan 14, 2014 5:44 pm

I am trying to remember the hotel I stayed in a few years ago in London.

All I can remember is it was within a few minutes walk of two train stations - the only other thing I remember which quite impressed me was the wash basins in the bathroom were glass.

When you say train stations--do you mean tube stations--or main line stations. If it is mainline stations, it would narrow it down a little--tube stations--impossible !!

Ok Karl, I just wanted to make sure. Could have been somewhere round Kings Cross and St Pancras-they are very close to each other, lots of hotels around Kings Cross.

That's the one Paul, it used to be a Mercure I'm told.

However my friend & travel agent is booking a good hotel in Kensington for me. It turns out my neighbours stayed there years ago and enjoyed it.

Well done Paul--I would never have known that hotel--but at least I got the right area.
