I saw Daphne's last appearance on Eggheads yesterday. I was very disappointed they didn't give her anything, not even some flowers, to mark her last show. I don't watch as much as I used to, but I'll miss Daphne.

I haven't watched it for a couple of years now, but I always liked Daphne.

Just read in the YOURS mag that it was her last appearance but we read it too late.
Will miss her too but they have been really naughty at the BBC with Eggheads .We have never known if we are going to be watching a repeat or not and the R.Times didn't state the new series was starting

Daphne also said that her final recording for Eggheads was last April, goodness me, and I know what you mean Sandra, not only Eggheads, but Pointless, Perfection and The Chase, you have to keep checking them all the time to see if they are new or repeats.
Daphne says nothing beats being with the family. Her first husband of 29 years died and she remarried. She has Five children, Ten Grand-children, Five Great Grand-children. , Two step daughters, and one Step- Grand-daughter.

I have not watched the last appearance of Daphne yet, I have lots of programmes in the queue to watch. It is a shame she did not get a memento or something, but maybe she requested no fuss.

It is very annoyong when you are watching an uptodate episode of Eggheads--then suddenly they are back with CJ in the team. It gets very confusing at times.
