Matts Stool?

Post by RobE » Wed Nov 12, 2014 7:34 pm

Forgive me if this is in the wrong section, but I was unsure where to post?
Anyway, I was thinking of purchasing a stool for my live work, due to my condition it gets a bit tiring on the legs!! and it got me thinking?
What ever happened to the stool that Matt used in his live shows?
Was this sold on or does the family have it n their possession?
Would love to know the design of it.

Hi Rob, Matt's stool is now a part of Matt Junior's stage appearances. I took photos of it at one appearance in Southsea a few years ago. It still has Matt's name on it. :D

I've carried the stool myself to a few venues for Michele or Matt in the past but i can't remember - Something tells me it fold up flat but i may be wrong. I'll double check with Michele.

Marian sent me these photographs of Matt's Stool to post here.

Thank you Marian & Peter

I was partially correct, it does collapse, but not flat. The four legs fold into the centre to make it easier to transport.

thank you for your replies and answering my question!
the design and concept is something that would suit my needs very well, especially the transportation issues!
I know that this stool was specially commissioned for Matt but I am sure I will find something similar, hopefully?
Thanks again folks!
