WHATEVER HAPPENED TO?

Whatever happened to Maxine? She swept in and posted frequently then disappeared, also Gray, Paddy and a young lad who's name escapes me.

Yes, there used to be lots of people on here Karl. Often wonder about them.

I'm still around but just get so busy its hard to keep checking in regularly. My deep love of Monro though has most certainly not diminished!

It was good to hear from you Josh and to know that you are still enjoying Matt's music.

We had a surprise yesterday when we turned the TV on about 8.30pm as we thought we recognised a familiar face from the past. As soon as we saw his collection of Gracie Fields memorabilia, we knew it was Seb who was a forum member and a big fan of Matt. He is now twenty six (how time flies).

It's good that young people like yourselves enjoy the superb talent of Matt and long may it continue.

Thanks for the kind words Maureen and Harry. Indeed it does seem that every generation discovers Matt, I imagine that's helped a lot by his prolific recordings for films which are still shown the world over today, not to mention the odd advert or use in a contemporary film.
