Just checking David Jacobs on the internet and it only seems like yesterday we used to listen to him every Sunday night between 11 and 12 β¦β¦.I was very surprised to find out he passed away over 9 years ago already in September 2013

I used to love listening to the Sunday night lineup on Radio 2. I've forgotten the name of the two hour programme at 4pm or 5pm, something like Memories and You; Alan T was the last presenter. And then there was Your Hundred Best Tunes, Sunday Half Hour, the Cliff Adams Singers, the man you really liked at 9pm Robert, Malcolm Laycock and big bands, with David Jacobs ("hello there") closing out the evening at 11pm.
Good memories with the best music and presentation.

And what was the name of the guy who used to present a fabulous programme on a Sunday and always started the show with Frankie Laines brilliant 'Making Memories' ( I think he was at one of Michele's events).
We were big fans of Malcolm Laycock before they dumped him. Clare Teal survives so far!
