Matt Monro Forum

When I look back into all of the site news , and read all of the comments, and sooo many ... It is quite amazing that Matt Monro continues to be a part of all of us!! And of course deserving of every message written about him. And why should I say amazing ? This voice , better than any. should recieve the praise so deserved. Often I just bury my head into his songs and listen to every word.. I guess the day I discoverd him {by accident} on You Tube was really ny Lucky Day and now those lucky days are mine forever.

just found your comment re: Amazing, and I too 'found' Matt again on You Tube. I always knew Matt existed, but as a kid
(and as has been said in another part of the forum), "even a child knows quality when he/she hears it" , I only ever heard Matt through
a tiny speaker on an AM radio...hardly did the guy justice, did it.?
I now listen in glorious stereo..and Matt sings 'just for me' ,as I'm sure he does for you.
It is an eternal shame that we can't bring him back..even for an hour...What a concert it would be.
