just wanting to talk

Post by lori » Sun Jan 03, 2010 7:26 pm

So here it is another snowbound day in Kansas... And another day to say hello and also listen to my favorite voice, here in my housebound Apt. I hope the weather wherever you live is not like the North Pole. Perhaps I will have to adjust to a long cold winter!! At any rate, Matt is singing his beautiful heart out. every song so perfect.. Since I now own , "The Heart Of A`Man " I have become so fond of listeining to this wonderful tape, and love " I remember It Well " I think I can hear the laughter in Matt's voice !! It is now Jan 3rd.. and again I say it is so wonderful to know I can be here on the Forum with all of you and say, " From The Heart Of This Woman... Thankyou all for being there!! Best to all lori

Hi Lori, We are all still here whenever you call. So sorry to hear you are snowbound in your apartment, but at least you have Matt to keep you warm.
You may remember we have friends just up the road in Prairie Village so they are having the same cold and snowy days as you are.
We have it very cold here too at the moment ,but I'm sure it is not nearly as bad as where you are, we are just not used to it like other parts of the world.
Anyway, keep warm if you can. We are thinking of you and hope the weather improves soon (for us all!) :) :D
Marian and Peter.

We are sorry that you are snowbound in Kansas Lori.
Our weather forecast tells us that we are in for at least Ten more days of frost or snow. Can't think of a nicer way of staying snug and cosy, than a nice hot drink, feet up and listening to Matt's beautiful music.
Take care Lori. :)

Matt never recorded Let It Snow, Let It Snow...................but he did record Rain Sometimes..............if only it would rain (a lot) to melt all the snow

Hi Lori

Sorry to hear you're snowbound; so are a lot of people in the UK, but not me, fortunately (though snow is forecast to return to the London area in the next few days). Hope your new year is a good one, helped along of course by the wonderful voice of Matt Monro. Happy 2010!

Hi Lori

in this part of England we are rarely snowbound so can't imagine what it is like for you.

So glad that you have the beautiful music of Matt to keep you going.

A Happy New Year to you and may your snow soon melt.

Sandra and John :)

Hi Lori,
Good to hear you have plenty of supplies in, as well as Matt to keep you company.
I will write to you privately about our friends, I wouldn't want to bore the socks off the others!
Stay warm.
Marian. :)
