I thought the final was excellent, and all three finalists did well. I wanted Sam to win, so I was pleased that he did. Laura was very good too, as she has been throughout the series, although I still don't know who she is!
Chloe had a good final too and I was pleased for her, and her mum and dad.
I unfortunately missed the unveiling of Jason's new thatch at the end, but I have seen pics in the paper this morning. Looking good Jas!
I will miss DOI on Sunday nights.

I think it all went as expected--except for Jason--as I had taped it, I was able to play it back, as I had just looked down at my crochet, just at that second.

There have been quite a few changes this season-some good-some not so good--but it is still very watchable--just wish it was on BBC, so we did not have so many tiresome adverts !!They seem worse in this programme than any other.

Those voting figures were surprising indeed-I can see now how Johnson seemed to sail through most weeks--so Sam only came top in the last 2 shows !! It would be interesting to see more of these voting figures on other shows like this--X factor--Strictly -etc etc.
