Patrick Swayze

Post by Marian » Thu Mar 06, 2008 12:13 pm

Just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear the news that Patrick Swayze has pancreatic cancer.
We wish him all the best.

Yes it's always sad when we know of anyone suffering. Unfortunately this is one of the worst forms of cancer to deal with.
We also wish him the very best.

It is very confusing--the papers say he has only 5 weeks to live--the radio says that is not the case--so let us hope that the papers are wrong .

Of course the papers always try to sensationalize a story, but it is a really fast growing cancer, and symptoms don't usually appear until the condition is serious.

Must admit like Marian I was also confused when on Breakfast Time they said that he was doing well, until turning to the front page of our newspapers. :?

Wishing Patrick all the best. An excellent actor, I especially liked the mini series "North and South" he did in the eighties, and of course, "Ghost".
