Sad to read today that Caroline John who played Liz Shaw, Jon Pertwee's first ever assistant in "Doctor Who", has died aged 72. Didn't realise she was as olas that but the series she was in was on 42 years ago - I'm getting old. Another great from the show gone along with the recent deaths of ELisabeth Sladen (Sarah Jane SMith) and Nicholas Courtney (the Brigadier)

I think Caroline was only in a handful of shows and I must say I cannot remember her.....................RIP :(
