Federer is back to his very best form these days ......... his performances did slip over the past 18 months.............. but Roger is 5-6 years older than Andy, I think that fact could be vital if the final goes to a full five sets...................this could be the start of Andys reign at the very top of the tennis tree :)

I agree that Andy Murray is playing his best tennis and peaking at the right time.....
I feel he can beat Federer if Roger fails to get the majority of his first serves in.
Also the TV announcers are saying that people are paying $20,000 US for Finals Tickets!
If you can pay that kind of money, I would not call them "people", but the "Ultra-Rich"...

Funnily enough, I just checked ebay to see what kind of prices are being asked--a few in the 100's, and some in the low 1000's--I only saw one really large one £25.000 but that included extras-corporate hospitality I think--the tv was saying yesterday that the tickets could go up to £4000.00 if Marray got to the final--but I cannot see that myself.

Looking foreward to seeing the tennis this afternoon.
Does snyone know what the weather is like in Wimbledon?

Very dull and cloudy in Kent, just now, but dry-I would imagine good conditions for playing tennis.

My sister lives in North West London, and has had rain this morning--but Wimbledon is in South West London0--but not really that far.

:D Hi Marianna

Rather dull and dry here at the moment. Lucky not to be in a flooded area.
Just going to wash my hair, and then lazily sit & watch the vital final match.

Toss up really who will win ?

I much like Federer, he has the experience !

Well, it only went to four sets, not five  ............Federer played some amazing tennis today.............Murray had his chances, but he just does not have the KILLER INSTINCT needed for these major finals............he has now lost all four major finals he has participated in :!:

I think everyone had expected that result--Andy did well--just not well enough.

Federer played really well, but even though Andy normally seems such a miserable sod, it was tissues out for him today. :( :(

We wondered if Andy's brother was at the match, or perhaps he was there and the cameras just didn't spot him. ?
