RIP - Ron Palillo of Welcome Back Kotter

Just read the news that actor Ron Palillo of the tv series Welcome Back Kotter has died of a heart attack at the age of 63 . This was the tv show that shot John Travolta into super stardom before Saturday Night Fever. It was also my favourite show back in 1975-1976 and I wouldn't miss it every Thursday night at 8pm. Did they ever show this in the UK?

I don't remember the TV show Eman, but I do remember his face .....................RIP :(

Hey Robert , some countries didn't air the show because they thought it promoted juvinille delinquency and focused on the inner city. Then again it was harmless. Did you know President Marcos of the Philippines didn't allow it to show until 1978 when everyone became Travolta Obsessed because of SNF. They were already 3 years behind and I'd seen everyone of the shows they were just starting to air.
