We keep saying this but when is it going to end, now Jimmy Tarbuck has been arrested - I hope it isn't true and that this is a witch-hunt. I have enjoyed Jimmy's performances over the years and have even seen his show and he was great - much better than Bruce Forsyth who's show was very third rate and disappointing. Jimmy on the other hand was the complete professional.

Yes, Jimmy Tarbuck was a shock. Who will we hear about next. In a way it's a shame because some of those arrested have entertained us for many years, and would want to be remembered for that, but in a short space of time those years of fame and popularity are replaced with disgust.
The trouble is a lot of young people were eager to have the chance to be around these famous celebrities etc, and perhaps quite happy to join in with what may have been regarded as fun at that time, but now, and most of all..... why Thirty or Forty more years on, they have all suddenly decided to change their minds about it being fun and even thought perhaps they should never have agreed to go to that back room with them Three times
Anyway, no prizes for guessing what the motive is

It just seems to be getting ridiculous now, it seems as though no one is safe, who will be next? I find it hard to believe.

It could be because they now think that they will be believed whereas previously they wouldn't have been. I dare say many would have said Stuart Hall was a jolly fine chap until he ADMITTED to it. Yes, it does seem in one sense to be getting out of hand but on the other we have to remember that many other celebrities from yesteryear have not been implicated (though of course there may be more revelations to come) and that could simply be because they weren't up to no good in the way that those who have been named (allegedly) were.
