I was sorry to read that the actor Bill Pertwee, best known for his role as Mr Hodges in Dads Army has passed away aged 86.

Yes, sad to hear the death of another actor from that great series, and cousin of actor Jon Pertwee.
Another series that he played a good part in as PC. Wilson was "You Rang M'Lord."
Paul Shane who passed away last week was also in this series.
As far as we know, this one has yet to be repeated on TV.
