Karl, you introduced me to a fine Scottish singer, Stuart Gillies, when you sent me his CDs.
I think he's much better than Marti Pellow. I also read that Stuart was a frequent performer
on the P & O Cruise Lines....Too bad he didn't make it bigger in the U.K.

Henry Marti & Stuart have different styles. I have seen both live and they were great however Stuart was a long time ago and Marti more recently - Marti has an incredible range and Stuart is more in the MM mould.

Seeing Stuart live was amazing, if someone asked for a request and the band didn't have the music he sang it anyway and never let anyone down.

Somehow I think Stuart wasn't too comfortable in the big league and is happy with what he does, I hear from him from time to time but I think he's semi-retired now.

It's sad that Philips or EMI never released any of Stuart's recordings on cd.

I liked Marti Pellow from when he was in his old band Wet, Wet, Wet back in the late 80's early 90's. They had some pretty good tunes.
