I don't know if they are old, but I just discovered The MacDonald Bros. I believe they are from Scotland? I'm loving their mix of BCR and The Proclaimers in their songs and sound. Be grateful for any insight on them.

I checked them out on Amazon and their debut album was from 2007, I have never heard of them until you spoke of them recently.

Thanks Karl. I think they are some sort of X-Factor thing from what I found out, but I love their sound and music. I believe they are managed by Louis Walsh and their producer is Stuart "Woody" Wood of the BCR's. So that's a plus factor for me as you know what a big BCR fan I am. :-)

I was Robert---I have obviously got the wrong duo---so I do not know the Macdonald Brothers, and do not remember them on x-factor or anything similar

Marian -- I haven't heard that new Texas song. They are so good and maybe I should order their latest album. I'm sure it's not as subline as In Demand. I played my CD single of In Demand a few weeks ago. It is perfection and I know you love it too.

This was popular a few months ago. Most everything I like currently is by Disclosure.

Hi Paul, yes, I still love "In demand"--but "Detroit City" is really catchy---

I have heard this song a couple of times --but just today got the name of the song and group.

They are called KODALINE and the song is BRAND NEW DAY--I really like it.
