I wasn't too impressed I've seen him much better.

Actually I dislike it when they constantly break up a concert with chit-chat as I feel it ruins the mood. Better to do the chat first then get on with the show.

I enjoyed the whole show, and I thought the stories of Neil Diamond's life story were great too. :D

I really enjoyed it ....it was nice to see about his family life etc....yes too many adverts for sure but I still enjoyed it ...I read that he has a chronic back problem from a tumour many years ago....kept losing feeling in his leg and left it and left it ....and then a tumour diagnosed ....thankfully ok ..he sang Hello from the Jazz singer which I love ...

Maxine there was a documentary on Neil's life earlier in the year where he visited his old house, by all means do a profile on the man's life but not during a concert - one or the other please!l

I agree adverts were too much - that's when you wish it was on BBC, talking of the Beeb his Electric Proms concert a yer or so back was excellent. I didn't even think his band sounded so good last night.

I haven't been to NY for some years but hopefully someday. I was going to add it on to my recent trip but changed my mind.

My son raced it about it too ....they were in the ice cold vortex last year and I and his girlfriends mum were going grey from worry ....lots of reports of double figure minus temperatures ...and now Matt reveals to me that the taxi driver on the way to the airport could hardly see in front of him ....I was pleading for them to get to the airport as soon as poss ....I said I don't want any family members to ever fly again in winter lol....he said Peter and I should go for our 30th anniversary in two years ..... 8)
