I was shocked to read that the comedienne Victoria Wood has died aged just 62. I liked her shows in the 80's, I particularly loved Acorn Antiques and Dinnerladies. Very talented lady gone far too soon.

I agree John. An exceptional talent for comedy and many others. She will be greatly missed.
Too many taken this year already.

RIP Victoria Wood. Very funny lady. I agree Marian, bad year for the entertainment industry. The other day American actress Doris Roberts from Everybody Loves Raymond and Remington Steele passed away at age 90.

Dinnerladies was great and Victoria also wrote That Day We Sang which was on tv not so long ago starring Michel Ball, that was a great musical play .

So shocked on hearing about the wonderful Victoria Wood, she was so talented gone far to soon I just loved her.
A big loss to the world of entertainment and thoughts are with her family at this sad time.
