Pauline Collins was a very popular actress in her heyday from Upstairs Downstairs to Shirley Valentine.
She was married to the popular actor John Alderton ……RIP 🙁

Years ago I saw John Alderton in a play in London, during one scene he was sawing a plank of wood - a lady sitting near me said
"Eee He's Good At That" and he was!
