Mariana, haven't been following the U.S. one much, but I am glad that obnoxious rapper kid Astro is gone. I do think Simon was right when he said he made a mistake making Drew (the 14 year old girl) sing a ballad version of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean.

Oh, I liked Astro,Eman. I still think it should have been him and Rachel in the finals.

Was Marcus second or third on the UK X Factor? Is Little Mix a girl group? Will they be as successful as Girls Aloud? Most people think Marcus will do better by not winning as the male winners never seem to do well with their record careers.

I never heard the charity single, but I love the original by Rose Royce.

Marcus was 2nd on x factor-and Little Mix is a girl group-they have all been saying that they could be the best band ever, but I cannot see it. Firstly, they seem to have no charisma or personality, and do not have a distinctive sound--however , for the first time ever, I quite liked them singing their new single Cannonball-but not enough to buy it. They will never never ever be as successful as Spice Girls or Girla Aloud--but Kelly thinks they will.

I love the x factor version of "Wishing on a star"-also loved the original-just a great song.

I'll have to search for Little Mix's version of Cannonball. I like Damien Rice's version. Jo Whiley said she watched the X Factor finale and couldn't stand the LM version, so she played Damien's version last night.

Why does Simon feel he has the right to now use these fabulous alternative songs and ruin them (like last year's Many of Horror by Biffy Clyro)?

I found Little Mix's Cannonball on youtube. Jo Whiley was right. It's awful, and why did they put that generic beat in there and a key change, which was totally expected? Simon Cowell does love key changes and choirs.

If I say to you that is the best I have heard them sing, it will give an indication of how good [not]they really are !
