I agree Lena, wasn't keen on the song at all, just seems to lack something, but Engelbert is singing very well and the song has no refection on him, but I wish him the very best. I have seen a lot of good comments about him. :)

Engelbert seemed to strain out the final note ..........and, the song seemed toooo slow .............and, I can see nil points on the horizon for him (well maybe one or two points at the very best) ...............and, why doesn't he grow old gracefully like Tom Jones..........not one grey hair in sight

Well according to the Sun newspaper, Engelbert said that even today the girls are still throwing their knickers on stake when he's performing.
Let's hope that's all he gets pelted with at the Eurovision. : but we still wish him luck and hope he does well. :) :)

Does Engelbert think hé's Tom Jones with the knicker throwing?

All best wishes to Englebert, a bit of a shame he's going on first though.
Jack has never "suffered" from the knickers embarrasment thing (we have better manners than that!) but I remember he once got a loud wolf whistle when taking his coat off, he recognised the whistler, and said "oh come on ------ aren't we getting a bit old for that such of thing!"
(Not guilty)

I heard the song again this morning in the car, what a mediocre song it is, it sound like filler for an album - and what's with the strange sounding top note?

I thought the song was very ordinary-I wll be surpised if it does well-as I have heard better songs than that, that did not do well.

That won't help him on Eurovision night. Or do they all mime now?

That's right, those were the days when they just had the singer to vote for. Now it's who can come up with a backing circus with the most outragious costumes.
