And Andrew is going to do all he can to make sure his choice goes through--I had not thought about that-but maybe that is why he voted out Nathan---it was his first and only chance. It was obvious he did not want Nathan, because of all the negative comments-not neccessarily about his singing but more about his attitude.I still think he would have made a brilliant Jesus--you need a bit of attutude for a role like that--and quite honestly, I do not think that Ben has it.

I haven't been watching this show, but I did last night. I liked Rory and David best. I can see what you mean about ALW favouring Ben.

I am really sad that this has ended, it has gone so quickly. i think the result was predictable, but an emotional ending.

I thought Melanie was brilliant singing "I don't know how to love him"--and I thought she looked lovely too--although sometimes on the judging panel I did not like her dress, hair, make up.

Roger was the first to be voted off and the result was more or less predicted, but it was probably the right result, and in a newspaper review of this series to find a Jesus, Dawn was described as... an old biddy on heat, so now she will be able to chill out. and Melonie was said to be sitting in a dancing chair.
I do agree that she sang the song.." I Don't Know How To Love him" beautifully.

I agree with you all,the winner was as expected but I warmed to Rory in the end as Andrew said,he was the only true rock singer.
Melanie C is a big surprise with her singing,certainly the best voice of the Spice Girls,although hasn't she played Mrs Johnstone in Blood Brothers?
Like you Marian it was over too quickly,but if ALW does another one please let it be on the BBC,

Thats right Sandra, Melanie did play the lead in "Blood Brothers"--and that is a very emotional dramatic part. To me, sahe has always had the best & strongest voice of the Spice Girls, but as I said, sahe was just outtstanding last night.

Hopefully there will be another one--especially now that "The wizard of Oz" is coming to an end--he did mention "Sunset Boulevard"--and I know he keeps saying that each one is the last one, I reckon he will be back.
