Oh bless him ....baby stress i think ....nothing can prepare you for it ....espeacially the first 3 months

I love his voice ...and the American / Canadians do express themselves better than us Brits so maybe that's why it looks OTT. My friend said she went to the cinema in newyork (my son going Saturday for new year)and people were clapping and cheering ...just can't imagine that happening here ...actually when I went to see robbie with hubby at the cinema ..live concert broadcast ...a woman was really enjoying the concert ...shouting we love you robbie ...etc ...she was British ....a fella complained ...yes complained ...to management that she should have been removed ....she was enjoying herself and it was a bit distracting but hey ....maybe she'd had a tipple .... He was absolutely fuming ...i was more irritated by his angry tirade on the staff ...we walked into Walmart in Florida in May and a staff me ever was singing the Star-Spangled Banner ....I was envious that this was happening ...to be proud and randomly sing and have people clap...if that was here ...in tesco say ....well ...only we can imagine the looks we'd get
Softly, I will leave you softly
For my heart would break if you should wake and see me go.....

So overall what is your general thoughts? I guess it wasn't just me who noticed something about Michael Buble. My initial thought was he was drunk again like that first special he did. I like the way he sings, but I dunno so much about his personality it just came off all wrong to me.

Us he did look a little jollier than usual Eman...maybe he's been told to overdo the interactions ...who knows?
Not like his usual shows ...(that rhymes :D )

I don't think we do nowadays. When I saw Soul Train with Sheila Ferguson the audience went wild with cheers and applause, Sheila's face was a picture like she could not beleive the rapturous applause from an Edinburgh audience!

Same wth Susan Boyle.

I have found that in the main US audiences are definately noisier, and will call and shout out, even when the artist is performing. In the many concerts in uk, there have been occasions when you could not hear a pin drop, while the artist was singing.

I'm sure we have all attended concerts when our life-expectancy dropped while the artist was singing

I guess the concerts I've gone to in my lifetime its always been a scream hysteric fit where you can't even hear the band. Then again it must be because of who's playing. I know when I went to see the Bay City Rollers it was chaotic. Mass fainting, crying, we had to control our friend Melissa from fainting or she'd miss the show. My Dad who was with us just sat there taking it all in good nature because he had ear plugs from the ship!!!

I went to an Air Supply concert in the Philippines and that was pretty sedate except for the cheers and the singing, but no screaming, however when I saw Leif Garrett, that was crazy!! Morrissey is that way also screaming and cat calls for him to take his shirt off..(ugh please keep it on), when I say McFly and Take That a few years back in the U.K. it was also mass hysterics, so in short I guess it depends on who you go see.
