I suppose as much as we would all like Don to ring the changes and hear more of Matt's rarer recordings, and unless he has commited to say that he will play at least one of his songs each week ( i'm not sure on this ) he could say that this is not actually Matt's programme

Yes L&H.........but the point is Don plays one Matt track each show, so he could show a bit of diversity and play some other fantastic Matt songs and not stick to a certain selection he chooses from  :)

Found the email........... :)
Hi.
Don Blacks radio show play a lot of Matt Monro song repeats.
Don Black should know Matt recorded hundreds of songs including many  gems.
I am going to list 26 Matt songs that Don could choose from. I don’t think Don has played any of Matts versions of these songs on his show..............so far!!
The Party’s Over
One Day
How Soon
Maria
Pretty Polly
Before You Go
All That Remains
Just Yesterday
Where In the World
Friendly Persuasion
Spring Is Here
A Time For Love
Try to Remember
Yesterday When I Was Young
Beyond the Hill
Fly Me to the Moon
Fools Rush In
Look For Small Pleasures
Love Is a Many Splendored Thing
More
Till Then My Love
The Story of Ireland
The Southern Star
Rain Sometimes
September  Song
Tahiti
.................lets hope Don reads this list and plays some of these glorious recordings.
If he wants to know which CDs the songs are from then he can certainly email me.
Because I’m not sure Don even knows Matt recorded some of these gems.
Thank you, Robert M.

I agree Robert, we know its not Matt's programme but he made a lot of records so why not play some rarer tracks.

Don surely has the common sense to source Matt's material, it's bound to be catalogued in the BBC Record Library. If Brian Matthew could find rarities then he can too!
