Don played yet another repeat "matchless" Matt song tonight ......Lets Face the Music and Dance ........he also played Dusty singing Windmills of Your Mind :)

Don played one of "matchless Matts" most magnificent songs today I Have Dreamed from the King and I :D .............he has played the song a few times before ........ Don must be ignoring my song list I emailed him :roll:

He also said that he was the best singer to come out of this country and his closest friend from the day he met him until the day we lost him.Thankfully Matt made many records so we never run out of great songs by him,some to perfection--- I Have Dreamed :D

He won't run out of songs to play if he keeps playing the same ones. That said "I Have Dreamed" is one of Matt's absolute best, and I've replayed too.

Don played Matt singing Didn't We tonight :) and followed up by playing a second Jimmy Webb song Adios by Glenn Campbell but as the programme is recorded weeks in advance he didn't mention Glenns passing :roll:

Yes Christine Matts voice is magnificent singing that song .........Matts voice was made for those glorious ballads :) :)

On his final show of the series Don played "matchless" Matt singing one his most famous songs Softly As I Leave You ..........Don also said the arrangement was by the late "matchless" Johnny Spence :) :)
