Just caught up with AI7 today-really good show --liked the song choices, although I did not know them all--I am with Marian and John on the top 3--I think Jason, or possibly Ramiele may go tonight.

They all seemed to handle Dollys songs better than the Beatle songs.

I didn't like Carly's Here You Come Again at all. Couldn't stand the rubato arrangement. I only wanted to hear Dolly Parton singing it and it's actually one of my least favourite performances by Dolly. I really liked Michael Johns' "It's All Wrong, But It's All Right; it's one of Dolly's best.

I was sorry to see Ramiele go, even though I thought she might go--I think that song was totally wrong for her.

Big surprise to see Michael go-I thought it could have been Jason-I really did not like him singing "Over the rainbow" with a ukelele--and he kept singing the wrong words ,which really irritated me

Not really sure who was my favourite---probably Kristie Lee Cook---a lovely song --called "Anywhere" ,
which I have never heard before--but it really suited her.

I thought they sang "Seasons of Love " really well, in the "Idol gives back" segment, although I have to confess, I whizzed through most of it.

I managed to somehow miss the entire show this week. I did put what I thought was the results show on on Friday, but it was "Idol Gives Back,"which I'm afraid I didn't stick with for long. I switched to "Dancing With The Stars".
I'm sorry to hear Michael was voted off this week.

It has already been repeated twice--I am sure you will find it again somwhere this week.

Not managed to catch up with "Dancing with the Stars" yet.

It is usually on twice each night---on ITV2---then again on ITV2 [1] an hour later.

I did take a quick look through the channels Marian, but of course the "boys" found the football first!
Anyway, tell me who was your favourite from last night.

I'm not sure who was my favourite--I've always liked Brooke---and David Archuleta, and last night was no different--I also liked Carly singing "Without you", but for some reason the judges did not.

I know they probably have to try to keep up the suspense and find different ways of announcing who leaves, but I thought it was quite cruel how they did it tonight. Anyway, Kristie Lee has gone, and only six remain..
My favourite is still David Archuleta.

Yes, they really dragged out those results. But I was pleased that Kristy Lee finally left. I also thought that Carly brought a new angle to Without You, but she should have gone for the low notes, instead of re-writing the melody. I enjoyed both Elliott Yamin's and Mariah Carey's performances. Perhaps Mariah is finally going back to her pop music roots on her new album.

I can't wait until Tuesday with Andrew Lloyd Webber.

David Cook or David Archuleta?

Always Be My Baby is probably my favourite Mariah Carey song; I still don't know whether I like David Cook's version. I like David Archuleta but I'm getting really tired of the melismas and I don't like that song.

Sorry Paul, I forgot there were 2 Davids. Definitely David Archuleta, I didn't care for David Cooks version this week.
