I thought that there had been occasions before when 3 were in the final dance off in the past.

I have to say that if the reason that they are giving is true, the possibility that it might happen should have occurred to someone before now.

I thought it was rather unfair of Arlene to come out with these comments before the final tomorrow.

"Strictly Come Dancing's Arlene Phillips has hit out at this year's finalists, saying none of them are as good as last year's winner Alesha Dixon.

The judge said that, despite being a good dancer, Rachel Stevens isn't a 'bubbly, bouncy girl' like Alesha and she accused bookies' favourite Tom Chambers of 'over-acting', reports The Sun.

Arlene said: "What's odd about Tom is, one would think, because he's an actor, he would know how to portray a dance.

"But we can see him acting the role and that's off-putting."

She added that Lisa Snowdon was the most likeable out of the final three but admitted that she would have preferred to see Austin Healey, who was voted out several weeks ago, win the series."

I think my favourites to win are Lisa and Brendan, but I won't be voting.

If you ask me, this show could prove dangerous to Arlenes health. You've all seen it. Last time it was Mark Ramprakash, and this time Austin Healey. I've often thought that someone will need to rush to her with a bucket of cold water..... Fingers crossed.

I do not understand how Arlene could say those things---it was only recently they were raving about the quality of this years dancers, and how they were better than all the previous years--etc, etc, etc.

I do not think they are better or worse--just different--and of course Rachel is not like Alisha--she is a different person !!! And it was the judges who knocked out Austin !!

I have no idea who will win--depends a lot on how the voting is going to be.

The panel have continuously made comments and contradicted themselves.
Rachel wasn't one of the best entrants to begin with but she has progressed wonderfully, and so has Lisa.
Tom is a natural, even though it wasn't his best last week, but Arlene like the other Three stooges, sorry...judges ( know who they want to win without watching this Saturday's dancing.

I suppose any controversial comments will give the show publicity and a higher ratings level!!

I think there's too much hard work goes in to learning the dances to really consider it just "light entertainment" Mark.

Mark is correct in saying it is "light entertainment" , but after watching for 4 months or so, and getting to know the celebrity dancers, and more about the professional dancers every week, it seems natural to get really involved in their stories, and especially if you have a particular favourite.

I have really enjoyed this series, as I have all the previous series.

I think we have come to know more about the professional dancers this series than ever before. I think whichever couple wins, be it Lisa and Brendan, Tom and Camilla, or Rachel and Vincent, it will be the couple who win that will be remembered as the winners, not just the celebrity dancer.

I totally agree---the professional dancers work so hard--and I really enjoy getting to know more and more about them as people-not just dancers.

What a farce! I loved Tom and Camilla but there was no way they were the best dancers. They should have gone out last week.
Tonight they were marked lower by the judges than the others. There's no getting away from the fact that the two highest marked couples should have been in the final two. I'm sure there will be a well deserved outcry over this.

I had a bet with my sister that Tom & Camilla would win--and as soon as I saw him doing the "Fred Astaire" dance at the beginning, I knew that would be enough for him to win.

It was a shame for the other 2 sets of dancers as they had such excellent marks--but this is what happens when the viewers vote.

In other programmes like "X-factor", and "Dancing on Ice", they have the 3 way final, so I do not see why "Strictly" should be different, and if you can remember the skating from last year, Chris Fountain, the red hot favourite was beaten by Suzanne Shaw--on viewers votes.

I was pleased with the result , as I really wanted Camilla to win.

Hate to say'I told you so'.
I know they all work very hard-not exactly working HARD! Also you do know they are paid very handsomely?
The bookies had the 'inside'knowledge as they offered bets for Tom to win,Rachel second,Lisa third!
The alleged'roll-over'was part of the plan.
the only unplanned part of the series was the overwhelming public voting'support for 'Dashing'John Sargent so he 'bit the bullet',like I said before-Surprise,Surprise-Tom won!
I love the 'show'but it's big money investment,we are the bystanders.
We were in the BBC building to witness the recording a couple of years ago-one of several recorded'live shows before a 'CLOSED'set. Scan the audience-no members of the public.
Trust me,regard it as'light entertainment'! :D
