Thankfully, MAN U. played like a settled bucket of water - tepid. Would that they could repeat the performance for the rest of the Season...

My lot let me down this week, Wycombe were very unfortunate not to take all three points yesterday.

Marian, I loved your father in law's analogy.

Joining in this one very late - and without any football references as I am from near Middlesbrough and so can't really comment

The highlight of the TV over Christmas for me was supposed to be 'Victoria Woods Mid Life Christmas', but it was a bit of a let down and nowhere near as good as her last Christmas special from 9 years ago.

'Dr Who' was a bit a of a let down although worth watching for Bernard Cribbins - yes, we will have to see what happens with this new guy but he looks a bit odd so hope its not a case of the Sylvester McCOys all over again!

In the end, my highlights were the 'Victoria Wood' Evening on BBC2 and the 'June Whitfield' evening - comic gold. Its coming to something when a rerun of a 1980 episode of Terry & June is funnier than the likes of 'Gavin and Stacey'
Michael

Here I go again, I hear those trumpets blow again.......

Yes, we watched the game Marian, and have to say that Liverpool are not the team they were, and although I was expecting, or I should say hoping for a penalty shoot out, Reading deserved to win. :) :)

Fantastic, Marian.

I had a huge smile on my face after the result for you and your family.
Really chuffed for you all!

Well done Reading ! Just heard the news on radio this morning.

Wouldn't it be great to see Leeds versus Reading in the next round--or the round after that--or even THE FINAL !!!!!
