I wasn't surprised at the result tonight, I won't give anything away in case anyone hasn't watched it yet.

The only surprising thing to me is she made it this far.

My sister and I were both convinced that Eoghan would go this week-although Diana was our 2nd choice.

She is OK singing a certain type of song, but I do not think I could ever listen to a whole cd from her.

After this last episode, I don't think I can bring myself to watch any more of this programme. The Two blubbering no hope contestants  could have taken a leaf out of little Connie Talbots book and how she accepted losing to Paul Potts last time. 8)
The immature panel with their baracking, and some of their fawning comments to these performers,...( pass me the sick bag ) just like many from the past series and will probably never be heard of again are embarassing.

Oh, how I agree with you Lena & Harry.
I can't bring myself to watch the programme any more.
The whole series is over-hyped to a disconcerting
extent. As for discovering new talent, there isn't
much wheat being harvested from the tons and tons
of chaff.
Thank God we can seek refuge in the imperishable
talent burnishing a Matt Monro CD.

Mark,

You've got more 'X Factor' in the tip of your little finger than all the contestants put together on this 'entertainment' show.

I burst out laughing on Saturday when the show cutaway from Diana singing to Cheryl Cole smiling angelically in approval.
Sooooo false.

That was all I could stand, I went and played Connect 4 with the kids and had a much better time. :)

Do you know Gray, that's exactly what Harry said. The trouble is the panel would describe Mark's or Tony's or Paul's type of singing as cheesy or cruise ship, two descriptions they have caught on to and like a dog with a bone refuse to let go.
One reason why Daniel remained as long as he did must have been through sheer sympathy.

I disliked the show until I took my grandaughters to the recording-a whole different prespective when you're there.

I guess we all knew Alexandria would win.
Bought the new CD by her for our grandson-a big X-Factor fan..Actually,I think he's in love with Cheryl Cole!
A fabulous final show-Beyonce was superb as were Boyzone &the others.
Eat your heart out Britanny!!!!

Yes I agree it was a foregone conclusion-although I actually preferred the version by JLS of "Hallelujah".

But overall a really great show-especially with the surprise guests--they really were a surprise--to me, anyway !!!

I was really pleased with the result, I think Alexandra deserved to win, although JLS put up a good fight. I believe they have just signed a record deal worth a pound or two!
