I see that Barbara Orbison has died, 23 years after her husband Roy.

Barbara worked had in getting Roy's back catalogue released just as Michele has done with Matt's.
Thank you for that Barbara and rest in peace.

i do not know if I heard correctly, but i thought they said she was only 60, which surprised me-although i know he wass married previously.
i have quite a few Roy Orbison records, because George was a big fan--one of our favourites was "You got it" which Chis Evans played this week, after the sad news.

Yes Barbara was only 37 when Roy passed away in 1988. I don't think Barbara ever re-married, instead devoting her life to the memory of her husband............ 37 was a very young age to be left a single mother
