dick Van Dyke Weds

Post by karl » Sat Mar 10, 2012 12:22 pm

dick Van Dyke has married his make up artist, he's 86 or 87 depending on what you read.

By the way has anyone noticed when you start a sentence with the Capital D you end up with a d ?

Don't think I've ever had that problem, Karl. The first word of each sentence is automatically capitalized by my BlackBerry. Perhaps you should set up something similar for your device.

Good news for Mr Van Dyke. He looks in great shape.

I think it may be to do with the actual word you started with Karl--some words on this site are censored--they really are !!

Ah that explains it Marian so dick is a censored word is iit???

I just came back to my post and it happened again, however why does it do that if it's censored why not just blank the word out?

That is odd. :? :? . at one time certain words censored here including dick would show up as...none :? :? and yes...why is it now passed but minus the capital D.?
Anyway congratulations to Mr Van Dyke. Hope he can still live up to his name :D :D

It is not me who censors these words--at one time it was quite disturbing to write down a potentially innocent word--and find ir censored-as Lena & Harry said, it would come up as "none". So it appears to have changed. But not sure why !

Karl et All, I have had the same problem on the site with the word "dick" for bandleaders & vocalists....
Examples---I am typing the word "dick" with a capital "D", but here's what is produced...
dick Jurgens, dick Todd, dick Haymes, dick Powell, Andy dick

What happened to freedom of speech, etc.? Good thing we do not have any members named "dick"Q!
