I see there has been a number of complaints regarding the new tv commercial where the tenor who sings "Go Compare" gets blown up by an assasin with a bazooka. The tenor is then seen at the end crawling from the wreckage.

I agree it is over the top but I also agree the "assasin" is merely doing what many of us feel like doing!!!

The go compare commercial will never be on my list of favourites.

Wynne Evans ia a very good singer. I think the bad taste complaints are quite understandable as our soldiers are risking their lives every day.

Yes, Sue Barker has come under fire from One or Two sources.

French & Saunders did similar things on their shows years ago and nobody seemed to mind.

I can see Marian and others point of view especially when we've just had more of our military killed in action, it's almost a weekly occurence.

The commercial in question was screened again during The Hotel Inspector.
